Deb Prior has more than 20 years' experience in marketing and corporate communications for companies and governments in technology, energy, mining, finance, health and transport.
Since establishing Priority Communications in 2009, Deb has provided communications strategy and materials for major change initiatives, including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, new systems & processes and company reorganisations. Deb has experience working closely with senior management at ELT and board levels as well as working with international teams. She also regularly works with clients to support internal communications, HR and marketing functions to produce written and visual content that resonates with their audience.
Previously, Deb was Regional Marketing & Communications Manager at New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, where she was responsible for driving major New Zealand government trade promotional initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. Before this, Deb was Head of Corporate Communications at AAPT, a PR Consultant at Edelman and a technical journalist.
Deb has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and English from Macquarie University, Sydney.
